Fiction Screenwriting Workshop

An idea can be the beginning of a film. But how does it transform into a story, characters, and scenes

Over four hands-on sessions, we will explore some fundamental tools of fiction screenwriting, starting with an original idea from each participant. We will work on structure, character development, conflict, scenes, dialogue, and rewriting, always with space to experiment, write, and discuss the group's projects.

The workshop's path:

  • The idea, synopsis, and story structure
  • Characters, objectives, and conflicts
  • Scenes, dialogue, and subtext
  • Reading, discussion, and rewriting

Each session combines examples, writing exercises, and sharing. The goal is for each participant to move forward with their project and gather basic materials to continue developing it after the workshop.

No screenwriting experience is necessary. Just bring the desire to write!
