Timor

Lorosae Expressions aims to be, through portraiture, a showcase, an expression, as faithful as possible, of the Timorese soul captured by the author's lens. This work was the privilege of being carried out during his stay in East Timor at the end of 1999, where, at the request of the UN and representing EDP, he participated in the surveying, reorganization, and reconstruction of the electricity sector.

All the images were taken on black and white film, and those now on display are enlarged by him in 30x40cm format. He was very grateful to have captured unique moments in the lives of the Timorese people and to be able to share images of rare beauty collected in the most hidden and difficult-to-access places.
