Small buildings and other things

Eduardo Sousa Ribeiro
12.03.2022 — 29.05.2022

Small buildings and other things, a photographic project begun in 2018, develops from small, ephemeral cardboard constructions found throughout the city of Lisbon, built and inhabited by homeless people. It aims to reflect on certain inconsistencies that inhabit our reality, feelings of loss, isolation, and loneliness that each person may experience, whether due to situations similar to those of homeless people or feelings of being exiled from oneself. This exhibition proposes a fragmented approach to investigative work within the image, based on objects found in urban spaces and other dissonant places.
