“For me, photography is an eminently experimental practice, with very poorly defined contours and limits, and with rules that I first seek to understand, and then strive to break.

It is a process of representing my world(s).

It is an open door to the permanent exploration and discovery of new paths, escaping the dictatorship of an aesthetic commonly accepted as “good,” and rejecting the dominion of the “machine over Man.”

It is then, in this context, that I see my cameras as simple tools…

…just as a writer uses a pencil and paper, as a painter uses brushes, paints, and canvases, or as a sculptor handles a hammer, a chisel, and a block of stone, without predefined limits to their creativity, so too should the photographer be able to enjoy the light and their cameras, to venture, without fear or prejudice, into the fascinating world of image creation.”
