What makes any cultural creation fascinating is the experience of risk: risk as an attitude and risk as an act, interacting with each other. Because it is the mental (postural) attitude that narrates a transgression, that conceives and unleashes risk—understood as that unique possibility of glimpsing the impossible; because it is the act (exercise) of risk, in its very instantaneity, that makes life a dazzling vertex, an experience of pleasure. For there is no pleasure without risk. Nor true culture without risk. Nor even culture without pleasure. And if the time of the culture of exercise, as a mechanical act, is over, another urgently needs to be developed: that of the exercise of culture, as an act of pleasure and committed pleasure.
