Collection of Cooperativa Comunicação Cultura collection"Entidades Paralelas" highlights the joy of lived moments, spaces, and experiences. A compilation full of historical weight and charisma, symbolizing society and communication as represented in their respective time periods. This was the spirit we intended to bring to the exhibition marking the 43-year history of Cooperativa de Comunicação e Cultura, through the art of documentary photography, books, and painting.
In the works donated over these decades, one observes a certain optimism or even an atmosphere of peace, which takes us on a journey through time, experiencing positive sensations (ultimately, what most of us yearn to experience on anniversaries).
With a sense of freedom and perspective, we invite you to walk through the space, which offers a series of unexpected encounters. Older and more recent works share the same room, mingling. In this way, veteran pieces gain new life and end up becoming part of today's life. The modest collection, drawn from the archives, is admittedly something not visible to the viewer but ultimately present in everyone's daily life.
Cooperativa knows it can never aspire to be the sacred repository of art, but rather a point of intersection for people, gestures, and voices, and a single center for the dissemination of facts, names, and worlds.
