We started with an admittedly generic theme, feeling the need to challenge some artists to work plastically on what would be their interpretation/expression of a problem as complex and comprehensive as the condition of women in contemporary society.

André Venceslau, Catarina Alfama, Catarina Sobreiro, João Dias, Milton Dias, and Patrícia Sobreiro were the names chosen to contribute their work to the profusion of visions and potential meanings about this vague place we call woman.
