The history, the directions, and the schools that photography may have are indifferent to me. I ignore the concepts to which art is subject. I repudiate the individual or group interests that generate concepts to the extent necessary to contain and qualify productions.
I condemn the poverty of means that buries the desire to participate and isolates on pedestals of resentment the boils that feed on silences.
Many would like to dedicate themselves to photography but cannot. Some dedicate themselves but do not exhibit. There are those who show singularly. To show with dignity is not easy. Few are those who arrogantly present luxurious presentations of luxurious themes.
As a result of certain contingencies, I come, without a name that weighs me down and without labels that relieve me, to show my own way of retaining the forms and colors that I encounter in my daily journey.
Everything is in the street, seen and manifested to those who surrender and gather, bring and give to those who like to see. And, because what everyone sees is different, I hope that other eyes, seeing it now, can return to me the identity of the image that I didn't know or didn't want to bring. That would be a grateful compensation. Because bread, that I don't come here to seek, nor do I despair of losing it here.
