A Praça

The Torres Vedras Municipal Market, commonly known as "Praça" (Square), reveals itself as an extremely conducive and rich space for the exploration and affirmation of the photographic "gaze." In this true stage of synesthesia, countless faces, numerous stories, and thousands of lives have intersected over the years. "Praça" represents the images captured "by the gaze" of a group of photographers. The ultimate goal of this multi-stage process was the creation of a photographic installation, reflecting the fieldwork carried out over several months, presenting the images captured by the photographers as a way to "rebuild: a look at the square and its people."
