A ilha
João AzevedoThe island to which this title refers is the same one Bioy Casares describes in ‘A Invenção de Morel’, the island where orientation does not come from suns or moons, but rather from phrases or movements. The literature of Casares and Borges has been suggesting the construction that João Azevedo makes from the captures and observations of his daily life. This exhibition presents an intersection of ‘stories’, where the ideas of document and fiction are articulated in the construction of a narrative experiment.
